A Medium to Heavy weight linen is used in the manufacture of sofas and chairs. This is an attractive option for furniture, but it can be rather expensive.
Linen makes excellent slipcovers, but the nature of linen needs to be heeded when opting for a slipcover. Slipcovers should be slightly damp when put back onto the sofa or chair. Furniture should be positioned out of direct sunlight as it will fade.
Linen gives furniture a relaxed and casual look and feel. Due to the high abrasion resistance, linen can take a lot of wear and still continue to look fresh and appealing. With proper care, your linen furniture piece will last a good couple of years.

Lampshades
Who doesn’t love a beautiful and well covered lampshade to finish off the look. Whether it is a table lamp, standing lamp or a hanging pendant, a linen covered lampshade not only adds to the visual aesthetic of the room but softens the light emitted to add to the ambiance of the room.
A lightweight linen is used in this instance.
Scatter Cushions
With its relaxed look, any sofa can be made to look inviting and relaxing, any sofa with a busy patterned can be toned down and not lose any interest, or any plain sofa can be made to look interesting and comfortable.
As mentioned before, due to the movement in linen, it is advisable to use a soft fill in the form of feathers for your cushion inner.
